Annual Wine & Jazz Event
A wine tasting event held in February. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and the “must attend” social event of the winter.
Race To The Landing
A 6-mile road race that is part of the Tennessee Running Tour consisting of 20 races held in 20 different Tennessee State Parks each year. The race is held the second weekend in October each year and averages over 100 runners per year.

Annual PLSP Easter Egg Hunt
The Friends donate three bicycles for prizes in three different age groups each year.
Christmas In The Park
There are over 100 different light displays set up throughout the park and accessed by a driving tour in addition to a holiday mart and various other visitor experiences.
Birds of Prey Program
Presented by Ranger Brittney Magness several times a year at the park and to area students in their schools. This program is made possible by the Aviary project that opened in September of 2017.
731 Fest
731 Fest highlights and supports local artisans, businesses, and organizations with sustainable initiatives, and helps to facilitate partnerships between communities, schools, and TN State Parks. The festival and its partnerships encourage local economic development, environmental education, and sustainability.
